Introduction

Boston University is one of the world’s best places to pursue your knowledge and degree. It is famous for its former students (graduates, i.e. alumni), its beautiful location, and an excellent hockey team! Of course, one of the things it is known for is academic excellence. Let’s learn more about Boston University.

We simply had to put this to the top of our list, with an exclamation mark, as BU is well-known for the wide variety of its study programs. Students can choose from an amazing number of more than three hundred majors and minors!

Law school, Medicine, and Economics

These are the three faculties Boston University is known for. These are its three strongest schools.

Devotion to research

At Boston University, research is the cornerstone of academic and scientific improvement. “International Powerhouse” is one of the nicknames of BU, given by the prestigious Times Higher Education.

Academic cradle of Martin Luther King

This prestigious university is also known for the fact that Martin Luther King studied theology on his doctoral studies at Boston University. Boston University is often referred to as Dr. King’s Alma mater.

Generosity

BU is also known for financially supporting students who come from low-income families. However, we must say that this is expected as Boston University belongs to the expensive school category.

Excellent location and campus

Here we come to one of the most beautiful things about Boston University. Campus life and location are also very important for student life quality and satisfaction.

At Boston University, campus quality and campus life are impeccable. Moreover, the location itself is superb. Boston University reflects diversity not only in the structure of its students and teaching staff but also through the style of its campuses and architecture. Students studying at different faculties will enjoy both historic and contemporary architecture.

The ratio is 10:1. This means that the study groups are perfectly sized to allow fast, easy, and innovative acquisition of knowledge. The groups are formed in a smart way, connecting the students’ majors and minors and matching them in order to develop an interdisciplinary approach.

Boston University is among the world’s best universities for many reasons. Studying at this university will probably be the best time of your life.

There are many things BU is known for. Those include is alumni, a large number of different study programs, its Law school, Economics, and Medicine college, as well as research labs and programs.

Moreover, this university offers many different financial aid programs and it is possible to study at BU even if you are coming from a family with low income.
