Canada is Inviting Applicants Through 80 Economic Class Immigration Programs

In order to reside in Canada, applicants have to go through the Canada Express System. Earlier till May 2019, to get a permanent residency in Canada, applicants were required to get a Comprehensive Ranking score of 460 points or above to get the ITA for permanent residence in Nation.

However, the ranking score has climbed up to 470 and even higher in recent times. As per the survey, by 2020, Canada is planning to open the gates for more than 200,000 immigrants through 80 Economic Class Immigration Programs.

Despite the Canada Express Entry cut-off Scores, the Nation offers different programs to economic class immigrants to get the invitation for permanent residences in Canada.

Why Applicants Must Take Express Entry Application Even if They Don’t Meet the CRS Cut-off

Several applicants think that if they don’t get the comprehensive ranking score of 470 points or above, their dream of living in Canada will not happen in reality. As a result of this, they don’t appear in the Express Entry Exam system.

However, despite the higher cut-off applicants should sit in the entrance exam even if they don’t obtain the comprehensive ranking score. There are several reasons behind linked with the statement. Firstly, applicants must note that the CRS cut-off scores are unpredictable.

If the applicants submit their names in the Express Entry Exam, they’ll give themselves a chance to receive the ITA in the scenario where the federal government might reduce the CRS cut-offs. Secondly, Canada has an exclusive Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) under which all the territories and provinces can select the emigrants who have submitted Express Entry Applications.

This process is also known as Enhanced Nominations. In simple words, if the candidates fail to get the Comprehensive ranking score in Express Entry system, they may still get the ITA for permanent residency if they clear the selection norms of the particular province or territory.

Thirdly, once the candidates have filled the applications for Express Entry, they can still improve their knowledge. They can work on their speaking and writing skills, master French language, get more work experience or pursue any educational degree in Canada.

Along with this, applicants can apply for a Canadian Job or seek the provincial nomination. Lastly, candidates must think beyond the boundaries as the Express Entry system is not a single pathway to get a Canadian residency. There are several other economic class immigration pathways.

As of Express Entry Application, the system only covers three significant pathways of Country’s economy. They are the Federal Skilled Worker Program, The Federal Skilled Trades Program and the Canadian Experience Class program. This overall implies that applicants have several other additional economic class pathways to get the residency in Canada.

The Need for 80 Plus Economic Class Pathways

PNP, which is the short form of Provincial Nominee Program, was introduced by the Canadian government in late 1999. The main reason behind the introduction of the PNP program was that smaller provinces and territories were failing to attract the interest and mindset of immigrants under federal economic class programs.

As a result of this, the territories were lacking economic development due to lower birth rates, movement of people to larger provinces and many more. When the PNP arrived, all the smaller provinces and territories started to gain attraction from Immigrants around the world. As of today, every territory in Canada has its own PNP Streams except for the province of Nunavut.

Benefits of 80 Plus Programs to Prospective Immigrants

The federal government of Canada and all the provinces have opened the doors to a variety of economy class pathways. This is ultimately giving a variety of choices to immigrants from around the world. Not only this, the federal government has introduced a lot of new programs for immigrants.

One of the programs that the government is hosting is the Atlantic Pilot Immigration Program. Apart from this, the government offers Federal Skilled Trades Program, Canadian Express Class Program and many more. To give immigrants better and variety of choices, all the provinces and territories have introduced many unique streams.

These streams are equally valuable as the federal government streams. They have opted for different pathways which will result in a bigger group of potential immigrants who will bring significant change in the economy. They will also contribute to the development of the Nation.
