Canadian Federal Government to Ease Immigration Pathway for International Students

You are here: Home / Immigration / Canadian Federal Government to Ease Immigration Pathway for International Students

November 4, 2019 //  by Amit Kumar

According to the latest news, it has been seen that immigrant students who travel to Canada for their higher education after completion of their graduation often find it difficult to live back in Canada and acquire permanent residency.

People are expecting the federal government to take steps by cutting the red tape and rolling out the red carpet, for instance. The number of immigrant students is increasing day by day in Canada.

Canada has become one of the highly preferred destinations in the world. Still, this whole situation with immigrant people is a big downside for Canada when it can become the world’s one of the most prominent booming educational destinations for students who plan to continue their degree-level education.

Canada’s government needs to understand the potential of the skilled immigrants and give them a fair amount of opportunities and chances to settle down there and work there for the betterment of the place itself.

There are a lot of talented immigrants travel to Canada to study and evolve into amazing scholars, giving them a fair amount of chances to serve the country should be one of the Canadian government’s prime concerns now.
According to a survey, it was found that every year, hundreds of thousands of students travel to Canada for studying.

Still, only one-third of the total number of graduates only can stay back in the country and get better opportunities to earn a livelihood and serve the country as well.

This whole process of uncertainty is building up tension among students about their future in the country. This, in turn, is indirectly hampering their academics, and the country is also losing some potential scholars from their list.

It is found that every year, the number of immigrant students is increasing, especially in Ontario’s colleges. This is even though overwhelming the students there but are creating frustrating situations for teachers.

There are so many students and teachers who cannot find enough time to look after every one of them; hence, it gives them anxiety. There are almost 572000 international students in Canada, which are 73 per cent more than the number of students who came in the year 2014.

The century initiative study mentioned facts about how if the immigrant students, if given a chance to get fair favours can make a suitable situation for the country itself as well.

If they can get an opportunity to settle down in the country and get a chance to serve the country, there will be a lot of benefit happening for the local economic situation of the country. Bridges can be made by joining the rural as well as urban financial situation benefiting the country and also giving enough job opportunities to the potential immigrant graduates as well.

Canada is the place of many renowned institutions; the number of students travelling to the country to study in these universities also contribute to the economic situation of the country.

Hence if the opportunities for the immigrant students, if not improved, will cause a decrement in the number of students leading into hampering the economic situation of the country as well.
