The strength of international students going to German universities has increased dramatically this year. Not being able to understand and speak German is a huge drawback for any international student going to study in German universities. Around 33% of the total number of international students faces a lot of trouble since they are not familiar with the language.

Knowing German not only helps a student to communicate better with the native people there but also helps them to find better accommodations, gets them their work permit and a lot of other benefits which a student who cannot speak German will find difficulty in procuring.

Complications in getting familiar with the Education System

Not knowing German is going to be a big drawback here as well. Since the majority of the teachers will communicate in German, it will become quite a struggle to get along with the understanding process.
