The Student, Secondary (High School) Exchange Program, a division of BridgeUSA, welcomes international high school students to the United States for up to a year of academic study at a recognized public or private secondary school. Participants live with American host families or attend recognized American boarding schools during their stay. The purpose of the High School Exchange Program, like all exchanges, is to expose participants to a broad range of American culture and society while also encouraging better appreciation of the participants’ home nations among Americans.

The YES Abroad fellowship covers the cost such as pre-departure guidance round-trip air tickets and room and panel; round-trip plane tickets between the individual’s home area and the community abroad; in-country support; cultural activities; school tuition (where applicable); room and board with a host family; secondary medical benefits; visa fees; and a modest stipend.

THINK Global School is the first traveling high school in the world. Attendees aged 15 to 18 acquire education by living in four different countries each year and participating in project-based learning to learn personally from their intercultural experiences.
