Need a Lot of Time:

Voting requires a lot of time to make necessary changes to legislation. Sometimes decisions can be quickly made, but it gets delayed because of giving rights to individuals present in the community. So, in a representative democracy, that time can be almost one year.

Focuses on the Needs of the Majority:

Within the structure of democracy, those who find themselves in the minority on the decision will feel that country doesn’t give attention to listening to their ideas or perspectives.

Hence if people consistently feel themselves in the minority, they begin to feel like a margin line or boundary has been created around them. So people in the majority must take first measures or actions to eradicate this taboo that is creating a majority-minority distinction.

Requires Well-informed Voters:

In a democracy, it is noticed that people cast a vote without having the necessary knowledge required for placing a vote. In this government structure, it is suggested that each casted vote should be well versed to make the whole process effective regarding the concerned subject matter.

Democracy Is a Person First Process:

When people are voting based on their relations, it creates discontent in society. It presents a notion that the majority is being suppressed by the minority. Therefore, legislation should be passed to protect the rights of individuals who find themselves outside.
