University of Auckland: It is the largest and the highest grade university in New Zealand and 2019 QS World University ranking it stood on the 85th rank. It has eight faculties and six campuses with more than 40,000 students. It is surely an attraction for international students across the globe.

University of Otago: In 2019, QS World University ranking, University of Otago scored 175th rank, and it is the oldest university established in 1869. It has four faculties and at present teaches around 20,800 students. 

Victoria University of Wellington: It is ranked 221st globally in the QS World University ranking and has around nine faculties and currently having 22,000 students. This university is well known for its programs in law and humanities. 

University of Canterbury: It is located in the largest city of the island and is ranked 231st in the joint. It has around 15,000 students currently and has many subjects to offer to international students like commerce, pathology, science, sports, law and many. 

University of Waikato: It is placed on the 274th rank in the world and was founded in 1964. It has around 12,300 students and is located in the cities of Hamilton and Tauranga. 

Massey University: It has more than 5,000 international students and has a wide range of programs and flexibility of distance teaching. 

Lincoln University: This university believes in student comes first and give proper attention to the students. They have an open-door policy which means students are welcome to discuss the projects with the lecturers.

Auckland University of Technology: It is the second-largest university and has 29,000 students and three campuses in Auckland. It is a safe place to study and encourages its students to be successful in a specialized field. 

Studying in New Zealand is a good option for the future with so many benefits. The only thing to decide is which university and which course to plan for.
