UK Post-Study System is Unacceptable for International Students

Having to do a post studying is good as we all need experience before we can actually start to work. Most jobs now days won’t allow anyone to work without at lea two or three years of experience. But the UK is not taking things seriously with foreign students.

It doesn’t allow the student to stay more than 4 months after graduation to be able to get a job. Also, the UK gives six months time for graduates with bachelor’s and master’s degrees; and a year for PhD level graduates. This is never sufficient to let them get the job that they need.

Also, this makes the UK in a very critical position, as the other nine countries. The other nine countries being Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the US, France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Sweden. They give from one to three years time to the person to be able to get a job. This is a great amount of time to be able to settle down in the place and be able to work freely.

This is a huge problem that the other countries doesn’t provide anything to the country but a negative atmosphere. As it will reduce the emigration rates, it will not only reduce the financial business. The emigration is the base of the economy and the community so once it falls the country will fall with it.

Also, the country will have less global talent as no one will want to come to the country to work. When they can’t find a job, they will not want to study there.

The Scottish government has been trying to attain the post-study work visa to return. This will make the graduate have two years to remain in the country to get a good experience for all degrees. The Scottish Migration Minister, Ben Macpherson said that as all the developing country all the people in the country is aging.

And soon enough there will so little people working, and they will have to face a labor shortage problem. It will be the worst problem that they will ever have to face, this is why they have to act fast upon solving this problem.

The Immigration lawyer Usman Aslam said that although the Tory government wants only skilled employees. The system won’t do anything but push them away, as the country has an out of date post-study system. The country will ever do is hand over the skilled people gladly to the other competitors.

We will not be able to blame anyone but the country itself if no one comes to it to study, as it is not taking any action in saving itself. The UK has to take this problem seriously as everything is walking on a thin line now. It’s supposed to make the post-study work visa return as it will save the country from its doom. If it falls it will take a lot of time to get back on its feet again.
