Wolfe County STEM Scholarships

Wolfe County High School is pleased to announce the Mercy International STEM Scholarship Program for Higher Education. The program is providing help to meet the higher education needs of students pursuing post-secondary learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and related fields.  Award amounts are based on financial need, academic initiative, and leadership activities.  Students can continue to receive assistance through the program as long as they continue their STEM higher education.

College Access Program Grant

At Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA), CAP Grants help Kentucky’s financially needy undergraduate students attend eligible public and private colleges and universities, proprietary schools, and technical colleges. Winners will get up to $1,900 scholarship award amount. Funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

STLP Scholarships

Kentucky Society for Technology in Education (KySTE) recognizes and honors Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP) seniors who have demonstrated outstanding achievement and leadership in technology. KySTE is currently funding 4 scholarships for $1000 each: Elaine Harrison Lane Scholarship, Gary and Becky Grant Scholarship, Mary Grace Jaeger Scholarship, and KySTE STLP Scholarship.

Kentucky Federation of Republic Women Scholarship

Did you know that the KFRW gives a $1,000 scholarship to a high school senior girl? The Kentucky Federation of Republican Women (KFRW) will seek to grant one scholarship in 2018 the amount of $2000.00 to a college-bound high school senior girl who has been politically active within the Republican Party during her high school career. The qualified applicant will graduate from a Kentucky high school in 2018, is a registered Republican and plans to enroll at an accredited college or university in Kentucky.

KHEAA Kentucky Go Higher Grant

The Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA) is pleased to announce the Need-based Go Higher Grants for Kentucky resident. The program gives students age 24 or older up to $1,000 for one academic year when they enroll in a participating Kentucky college less than half-time, which is usually one or two courses. To apply, the applicant must be a U.S. citizen, national or permanent resident. There is no application deadline, but students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible because funds are limited. NISF Scholarship Award

The Nursing Incentive Scholarship Fund (NISF) provides scholarships to Kentucky residents who will be attending approved pre-licensure nursing programs (registered nurse or practical nurse) or graduate nursing programs.  The amount of each scholarship is $3,000 per year.  NISF scholarships may be used for the cost of living expenses, as well as school expenses. Applications for the 2018-2019 school year will be accepted postmarked January 1, 2018, thru June 1, 2018.

Rural Technology Fund Scholarships

The Rural Technology Fund (RTF) is pleased to announce its four RTF Scholarships.  (1) The Cyber Security Scholarship is awarded annually to a student from a rural community anywhere in the United States, (2) The Judith A. Sanders Memorial Scholarship, (3) The Judy Shankle Memorial Scholarship for high school senior, and (4) The Kentucky Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP) Scholarship is open to students from schools in Kentucky. All these scholarships open to students who are planning on pursuing a college degree in any Engineering or Computer discipline or related field. The RTF will be awarded total $3,500 in these four programs.

Kids’ Chance of Kentucky Scholarship

The Scholarship Committee of the Kids’ Chance of Kentucky Inc. is pleased to offer a scholarship opportunity. To qualify, Children who are Kentucky residents between the ages of 16 and 25 and who had a parent who was serious, catastrophically, or fatally injured in a Kentucky employment-related accident. Scholarship awards vary for college and technical schools and depend largely on the needs and educational expenses of the student. Scholarships may be used to cover tuition and books as well as housing and meals.
