The Slipstream Press is glad to offer the Slipstream Poetry Contest Program for international and U.S. students. The undergraduate and graduate program is available to high school senior or older. Applicable must have an interest in writing poetry. Winner will get $1,000 award worth.

Just Poetry Scholarship

Just Poetry the National Poetry Quarterly is just for the American High School Poet and the American High School Poetry Teacher. Just Poetry is offering the scholarship program for U.S. high school students. The Easterday Poetry Award of a $500.00 college scholarship. In addition, there will be 4 “Best of Issue” Winners ($500 scholarship prize, 1 selected each quarter) and 4 Editor’s Choice Selections ($100 scholarship prize, 1 selected each quarter).

Autumn House Poetry Contest

The Association of Writers & Writing Programs (AWP) offers three annual scholarships to emerging writers who wish to attend a writers’ conference, center, festival, retreat, or residency. Three winners will each receive a $2,500 scholarship to attend a WC&C member program. The prizes are applied to fees for winners to attend one of the member programs in AWP’s Directory of Conferences & Centers.

Norman Mailer Award Competition

The National Council of Teachers of English (NCTC) is now offering five Award Competitions. The Poetry Foundation is excited to announce Ruth Lilly and Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Fellowship Program for the candidates who are aged between 21 to 31 years. Applicants must reside in the U.S. or be U.S. citizens. Five Fellowships in the amount of $25,800 each will be awarded to young poets in the U.S.

Sydney University Literary Prize

The Emerging Writer Awards

The Key West Literary Seminar is now offering three Emerging Writer Awards (The Marianne Russo Award, the Scotti Merrill Memorial Award, and the Cecelia Joyce Johnson Award). Poets and writers of any age who live in the United States and have not yet published a book with a major publisher are eligible to apply. Winners receive full tuition support for our January Seminar and Workshop Program, round-trip airfare, lodging, a $500 honorarium, and the opportunity to appear on stage during the Seminar. Runners-up for each award will also be offered financial assistance packages.
