Why Should Students Opt for the Online Pre-Master’s Program?

Before Covid-19, the NCUK pre-masters study centres operated in Colombia, South Korea, Ireland, South Korea, China, UK, and Japan. However, the pandemic has changed the entire scenario. The social distancing rule has compelled study centres to think about innovative ways to teach students as they cannot physically come to intuitions.

The NCUK pre-masters study centres have started giving online tuitions so that they do not lose business. Again, students can also study from the comfort of their homes. They do not have to risk their lives. Students can explore all the subjects online.

The remote learning option is giving students the chance to increase their proficiency in English. Plus, they can learn new study techniques and broaden their academic knowledge. So, before they arrive in the UK, they will be well-prepared beforehand.

It is tough to say when the UK government will allow all post-graduate students to the country. The new UK points-based immigration system has already sent the UK Universities into the panic mode. They are assuming that many international students may drop their idea of studying at a UK University. That is why the UKK Universities have come up with a plan to lure international students. Now we have to wait and watch the response of the international students. However, students who are desperate to study in UK Universities can prepare themselves in the meantime with the online pre-master’s program.

International students can learn a lot of things through this program. They can learn how to plan a research project and complete it. They can get selective lectures on the right way to complete the project. Apart from this, international students can get accustomed to studying in Western academic environments.

The NCUK pre-masters online program is designed to help international students get into thousands of UK Universities. They can get into their shortlisted Universities without any problem. They do not have to apply to all the institutions individually.

Moreover, as international students will study remotely, they will save on transportation costs. They will save time too. Travelling has become a hassle during this pandemic. Sitting in the classroom and wearing a mask, the entire day is not a joke. It is quite suffocating, but this is something mandatory in the new normal situation.

How Can Students Qualify for the Online Pre-Master’s Program in the UK?

This program is not open to all the students. There are proper eligibility criteria to qualify for the online pre-master’s program. Let us find out about them one by one:

  1. The students should have a bachelor’s degree in any language except English from a government-recognized university.
  2. Students must have a degree equivalent to a 2:1.
  3. They should also complete the IELTS 5.5 or anything equivalent to it.

What Else Must Students Know?

The visa application process is slow now. Plus, there are too many restrictions. Earlier, the visa process was complete within three weeks. But now, it is postponed for an indefinite period. The points-based immigration system will be in effect from January 2021. So, unless the government thinks about an alternative situation, it will be tough for students to enter the country. Many fear that the point-based immigration route will be costly. That is yet another thing that students have to think over.

Hope Is Still There for the Students

Hope is still there for international students. Many UK Universities have started planning about the various ways to combat the pandemic, government restrictions, and many other challenges. Many UK Universities are coming up with blending learning, where online teaching is the primary mode of instruction. Online learning is here to stay until Oxford University comes up with the Covid vaccine. The entire world is waiting for that vaccine.

Cambridge University has declared that it will continue remote learning until next summer. They are not ready to take chances. They will offer face-to-face lectures to maintain social distancing.

International students have to wait until the second wave of Covid-19 recedes. The UK government is looking for new ways to combat the second onslaught of the pandemic. It is not time to lose patience. It is time to hold on to patience until good times arrive again.
