After Canada, UK is becoming the top immigration destination. If you are also an aspirant to immigration and look forward to a great future for yourself in the UK, then knowing about the high demand jobs in the UK will be helpful.

The trend jobs in the UK for 2020 changed after the COVID-19 outbreak, which reshaped the job outlook for many countries worldwide.

Before the pandemic, the sector with the largest job outlook was wholesale and retail trade with an estimated 4.97 million jobs, with 4.48 million jobs in March 2020 is the next largest health and social work sector.

The healthcare sector is the one that shows the highest increase in the number of jobs four months after the pandemic began in March. Other trending jobs are in the fields of IT, sales, data analytics, law, etc.

Based on the changed job outlook because of the pandemic, here’s a list of the top professions expected to be in high demand this year:

Medical technologists must maintain and operate medical equipment used to perform complex scientific blood and other body fluids tests. A medical technologist is a highly skilled health care professional who tests and analyzes samples of blood, other body fluids and tissue.

For this job, a degree in Medical Engineering or Clinical Lab Science is required and deep understanding of biology and chemistry as well as proven experience dealing with a variety of medical devices and devices.

Average Salary: £29,551 per year

Registered Nurse

Registered nurses have been in high demand for several years, and this occupation offers room for advancement opportunities. Some of the nurses’ responsibilities are to:

Machine learning engineers are in high demand, as the technology industry shifts its focus to the evolving automation industry. Such developers invest their time using big data to train models that are involved in the processing of natural language, economic forecasting and image recognition. Machine learning ( ML) is the study of computer algorithms, automatically improving through experience.

Average Salary: Between £33,750 anywhere up to around £96,250

Data Scientists

More and more information is gathered each day by organizations and businesses. That is why it is more important than ever to get experts from the data sciences. To help organizations make informed decisions, data scientists spend their working hours collecting, cleaning and displaying data. Data Scientists utilize their skills in both technology and social science to find trends and manage data.

Average Salary: £50,787

Information Security Analysts

Information Security analysts are working to defend cyber-attack information infrastructure. Security Analysts are essential for the protection of user data and confidential company information. The information security analysts plan and implement security measures to protect the computer networks and systems of an organization.

Data Analyst

In today’s business world data is king. That’s why more and more positions focus on data and make data useful in business. Data analysts have that role to play. Data analysts need data analytics capability. They ensure data consistency and find the best ways to utilize that data.

In general, a data analyst will collect and organize data and use it to reach meaningful conclusions.

Operations Research Analyst

Operations analysts advise executives and other stakeholders when making decisions using high-level theoretical techniques and advanced mathematics to help them choose the right course of action. This job requires skills in analytics, problem-solving, maths and critical thinking.

An analyst of operations research helps an organization make better decisions based on relevant and available data.

Corporate Law

A corporate lawyer’s role is to ensure the legality of business transactions and to advise corporations on their legal rights and duties, including corporate officers’ duties and responsibilities.

Corporate law is an incredibly diverse practice and integral to both the legal and business sectors. It is also known as company law and is one of the most exciting and dynamic legal practice areas.

Sales Managers

A sales manager is someone in charge of leading and guiding an organization’s team of salespeople. They set sales goals & quotas, develop a sales plan, analyze data, assign sales training and sales territories, mentor their sales team members and engage in the hiring and firing process.

The responsibilities of sales managers vary with the size of the organization, for which they work.
