China Warns Its International Students Studying in the USA

Amid stressful relations between the United States of America and China, the Chinese government has warned students who are pursuing their international education in the United States of America.

China has also intimidated the students about the risks involved in completing their education in the United States, mainly implying the facts about the change in the visa and immigration problems of the United States which has made it difficult for students to study in the United States, not only the students from China but also students from other countries.

The relation between The United States of America and China has been in constant limelight because of their bitter trade war between the two rival countries alongside the tensions rising due to the highly disputed South China Seas and the increasing support from the United States for China claimed Taiwan.

The state television of China has cited the Ministry Spokeswoman Xu Mei saying the even after strained relations with the United States, the student who is going to the United States have been welcomed in open arms and equal cooperation.

Many different newspaper sources have cited that the warning was given regarding racial discrimination against Chinese students who have gone for further studies in the United States.

This isn’t the first time the Chinese Government has issued warnings against the United States. In the year 2018, the Chinese Embassy located in Washington has issued a security notice to all the citizens of Chinese nationality and also tourists who have come to the United States to be self-aware of unwanted practices against the Chinese people such as increase in the medical bills, unwanted threats of gun violence against the people, thieving and robberies and searches and seizures by the customs department of the United States of America.

Moreover, a group of Republicans from the United States President Trump’s administration in the Congress has bought up legislation the previous month which prohibits any student or employee who has been sponsored and supported by the Chinese Military to be issued the visa for students and employees as well.

If passed and brought into action, this would result in the United States Government to include all the colleges and educational institutes that are connected and affiliated with China’s People’s Liberation Army to prohibit anyone who is employed or whose education is sponsored by the army to not receive their visa.

The aforementioned bill is introduced on the basis of the United States officials stating that the people from China might come to the United States with motives of theft of any intellectual property or even conduct espionage.
