Engineering and medicine usually cost around $28,625 or £16,906 for international students and business and management courses cost around $24,683 or £14,573 per year. A postgraduate degree can cost between $4,000 and $6,000 (£2,500-3,600) annually.

2. Accommodation costs

Students studying in Canada can adapt to the homestay, university accommodation or private accommodation. The average cost is around $6,000 per year.

5. Other Essential Costs

Under Canadian student visa requirements, you need to have at least $10,000 surplus to your tuition fees to study in Canada.

A vital factor for students studying in Canada is compulsory health insurance. It costs around $600-800 per year. Some provinces cover insurance for international students under provincial healthcare plans but in others, students must arrange their own private health insurance.
