Scottish Students Shine at Internship Program

In the year 2019 itself, 178 students to be precise shall be able to take part in a once in a lifetime opportunity to where the students shall be able to work in the leading organizations across the world such as the United States, Italy, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Japan, England, Australia and the home country in Scotland.

Entrepreneurial Scotland’s Saltire Scholar Internship Programme began in the year 2006, which makes the program more than a decade old. Even after its culmination, this year has been the most significant turnover concerning the number of students, and it has been noted that the number of companies has begun to grow each passing year, with 171 internships in the previous year 2018 alone.

Scholars, as they are called in Entrepreneurial Scotland’s Saltire Scholar Internship Programme have expressed their positive views on the program by explaining that the program has helped the scholars to experience the vibrant culture, the experiences of a new country, and equally giving them the opportunity to represent the countries from which they hail from.

All the students who have been selected for The Entrepreneurial Scotland’s Saltire Scholar Internship Programme have been requested to arrive at the University of Strathclyde in the current week for all the details regarding their briefing and detailing about the internship, in order to prepare them for the internships which they shall begin the very next week, with an exact number of 85 interns travelling to other countries overseas while the remaining candidates would be accepting their placements in the United Kingdom. 

During the time frame of the placements, the students shall be working for a period of minimum 8 weeks to a maximum of 12 weeks at organizations which are of very different sectors such as Banking and Legal Service and even joining other creative industries such as Engineering Department, Manufacturing Division, Science and Technology.
