There are majorly three different programs which people can choose to get permanent residency after they have completed their studies successfully.
Students who have studied at least for two years at an accredited post-secondary school on a full-time basis are eligible to apply for permanent residency in Canada under this program. Also, there is a requirement of completing studies in a Canadian campus and after that working for at least a total period of twelve months in a skilled position.
Students who have studied in Quebec and have completed a Bachelor’s, vocational or masters/Ph.D. level degree and have a degree of proficiency in French and English are suitable to apply under this program. Students don’t need to have any prior work experience to become eligible for this program.
Foreign students who studied their post-secondary program in provinces such as Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Nova Scotia, Manitoba, Newfoundland, and Prince Edward Island are suitable to apply under this program. Several programs would require work or job experience or a job offer in the province where the degree was obtained from.
However, there is a chance that the others, may not. The best perk that this program offers is that, under this program, the student can acquire the status of permanent resident faster than any other program.
Diversity Scholarship is open for foreign students who want to complete a diploma and fulfill their higher education and business goals. The award amount differs according to the subjects.
