Career goals are the targets that guide your career path. Career goals are milestones that you want to achieve in a specific time. There are different types of career goals you can choose.

They can be Long term and short term. But one needs to follow a formula to achieve a specific purpose or target. The best career and goals examples follow a method. 

That formula is “SMART”

It stands for:

  • S- Specific
  • M- Measurable
  • A- Achievable
  • R- Realistic 
  • T- Timely

Following the above formula always makes career selection easy. As you organize every milestone, you eventually know how you are going to reach your objectives. But you need to follow the “SMART” rule.

Choosing the best career can seem to be a simple thing to do, but selecting the wrong job can have long term consequences. One needs to select the best profession, which will not affect you in the long run.

9. Networking

Networking can provide valuable feedback and provide new opportunities to achieve your long-term career goal. Improving your networking skills, in the long run, can open opportunities and help make your long-term goals more achievable.

10. Learn a New Skill

Learning how to create the software as a short-term career goal, but as time goes, it can be your long-term career. Learning to do something new is nice because you are motivated and want to learn more.
