Canada Issued 668 Invitations for Express Entry Candidates to Apply for Canadian PR

Canadian Government has invited 668 candidates for express entry to apply for the PR of Canada. This occurred on March 20, resulting in 19,368 number of invitations with the lowest score being 720.

The score this year was higher as compared to that of the last year. Also, the draw includes all the candidates who had provincial nominations along with the express entry.

The express entry consists of the candidates for the different Canadian immigration programs. This includes federal skilled trades class, skilled federal worker class, and Canadian experience class. The candidates are chosen according to the score they get in the CRS.

It has parameters such as age, education, proficiency in English, and work experience. The candidates who score higher get the invitation to apply for Canadian residence via draws in the express entry. It takes place every two weeks.

On March 20 2020, the candidates who had a score of 720 or higher received the ITA. Canada has been welcoming many immigrants throughout the last few years. In 2018, 320,000 came to Canada. Moreover, 341,000 came in 2019, and more are expected to come in 2020.

The candidates who will arrive in Canada this year are mostly belonging to the economic class. Fifty-eight per cent of them are coming via express entry, PNP, AIP, and Quebec’s programs. The candidates who have a score lower than 720 can improve their scores. This can be done by increasing their scores in English tests or getting a provincial nomination for the PR of Canada.

However, if one gets the provincial nomination, the individual receives an additional count of six hundred. It results in a guarantee of getting the permanent residence ship of Canada.

Express Entry candidates with scores below today’s cut-off who want to improve their score may have a number of options for doing so, from improving their language scores to obtaining a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence.

This year 5000 invitations were issued to the express entry candidates under the provincial nomination. The provinces include Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Prince Edwards Island.

Out of the numbers of candidates invited through the Express Entry sub-category of its immigrant nominee program, 1750 were encouraged by Saskatchewan. Ontario asked 954 candidates, whereas Alberta selected 300 candidates.

One of the few examples of the candidates who can quickly obtain the ITA in the draw of March 18thare as follows:

1. A married couple of age 35 years have a bachelor’s degree with excellent English proficiency could score 304 quickly in the CRS. If the province Alberta invites them, their rating can quickly rise to nine hundred and four. Also, they can surely get the ITA in the draw of match 18th.

2. A candidate with Canadian work experience of over a year and a half of the age 38 years old. He writes a CELPIP and scores a five in all the categories. He can enter the pool with a score of 125 without getting assessed for his education. If he obtains the provincial nomination on March 10, his count rises to 725 and receives the invitation of the PR of Canada in the draw on March 18.

The initial process of getting the provincial nomination is to apply for the express entry, get the score, and wait for the regular draws.
