Whether you are a fan of classic mystery novels or just looking for a book to send your mind on a journey of mystical revelation, one of Agatha Christie’s books is just what you need.

We cannot regard any reading list as “complete” without the inclusion of Agatha Christie’s books. As one of the veteran bestselling authors of all time, Agatha Christie wrote nothing less than 80 books- 66 detective novels and 14 short story collections, including her famous “Hercules Poirot Mysteries,” lifetime.

Most of her books now have plays, films, and TV series, but nothing captivates one more than the mystery and suspense that her books present.

It is challenging to select a fraction of Agatha Christie’s books and call it one’s favourite, but we have chosen a few of her books. They are good. They are mind-blowing.

These are the ten books, in no particular order.

1. Death on the Nile

In Death on the Nile, familiar character Hercules Poirot embarks on a voyage to Egypt down the famous River Nile. With terrorists and detectives aiming to catch their prey, one murder leads to a series of murders, witnesses eliminated, and the suspense never ends.

3. Endless Nights

Considered as one of the best classic crime novels, Endless Nights takes us on a journey into Michael Rogers’ life. It all seemed like a dream come true when Michael finds out about the elegant house at Gypsy’s Acre and meets with Ellie, the heiress.

What is great about the book is her “first-person” narration and how she connects one event with the other in a master-class crime novel. Michael ignores an older woman’s warning, slides into doom as he realizes that Gypsy’s Acre is not a safe place for him to be.

6. Sparkling Cyanide

Some of us have been in this situation before. When we gather around a table to merry, but someone is missing. Someone that death had snatched away. We stare at the empty sit, reminiscing on memories.

In Sparkling Cyanide, Agatha Christie sets up an imaginary table, a table of six. Where six people, including a murderer, sat; she connects a series of past events and recent ones to bring the perpetrators of Rosemary’s death to life.

When it comes to good murder and crime novels, we cannot but give her accolades.
