International co-up (Internship)

These students are allowed to get permission for the IEC program based on this category. Young Professionals

This category is for those people who are interested in gaining Canadian work experience. In this regard, too, people must work for the same employer in the same location. People who are getting the chance to be a participant of the IEC program based on the category must work as a paid employee. Self-employed people are now allowed to participate in the IEC program based on this category.

In this regard, they are required to work with such employers who meet some criteria. The employers must meet labor laws, and the job offers are required to be classified as National Occupational Classification. In this regard, the acceptance of NOC C jobs is considerable for students who can submit a post-secondary diploma, degree, or certificate and have a work permit application. In this regard, it is essential to remember that the degree certificate should be translated into English or French.
