Here, students get the offer to accomplish several courses, and the job-related facilities are also high here. It is a fact that there are several reasons why students are choosing Europe for achieving their study-related purposes. This article is intended to find out the reasons. In the following sections, the reasons are going to be highlighted. First of all, the traditions related to higher education in this country are going to be highlighted.

Traditions of Higher Education in Country

It is a fact that culture and education are essential for developing an inclusive and cohesive Europe. In 2017, the European Commission laid out the vision at the Gothenburg Social Summit. When the matter comes to discussing the tradition related to higher education in Europe, it becomes essential to state that the European Union supports higher education in an effective way.

Universities in World University Rankings

In the World University ranking, several EU universities can be found.  By considering the Times Higher Education, it can be stated that the University of Oxford, UK is the best educational institution in the EU as it leads in fourth place as per the QS World University Ranking 2020. On the other hand, the University of Cambridge is leading the seventh position. By considering the result of the World University Ranking by Times Higher Education, it can be stated that Imperial College London, UK, ETH Zurich, Switzerland, University College London (UCL), UK are some universities that hold ranks in the list of World university ranking. By considering this matter, it can be stated that several world’s famous universities are there in the EU that are offering the best courses for students.

Russian Education in Figures

In Russia, the state provides the most education services regulated through the Ministry of Education and Science. Here, 47.7% of students have completed their secondary education, and 26.5% have completed middle school. Several international students are also showing interest in accomplishing their study-related purposes from Russia. In Russia, the average annual tuition fee is RUB 120,000-380,000 at all study-levels.  Here, the average living cost is RUB 242,160 (US$3,850) per year. It is a fact that being the largest country globally, Russia is found to have interesting cultural settings. However, this country’s living cost is surprisingly low. It can be regarded as the main reason why international students show an adequate level of interest in accomplishing their study from this country.

Top Programs and Universities

In the above-stated passages, the universities’ names leading significant places in the global university rankings have been highlighted. Some top universities in the UK are the University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, University College London, EPFL, Switzerland, and others. In this regard, it is also essential to discuss the programs organized in the EU to help students meet their study-related goals. Through Horizon 2020 and Erasmus + programs, the unions in Europe are supporting the international exchange for students, researchers, and academic staff. The program’s objective is to create new opportunities for higher education people to learn from one another across the borders related to their nationality and culture.

Requirements related to Visa Application

To apply for a visa to the EU, students are required to submit some essential documents. It can be regarded as an integral part of the Schengen visa application process. Students must submit a fully completed and signed visa application form as the first step of getting the visa to the EU. Apart from that, they are required to submit two recently taken photos. A valid passport has to be used by the student who wants to get a visa to the EU. Apart from that, having a travel insurance policy is essential in this regard. The students have to remember that they must submit a letter of acceptance at an EU university to accomplish the Visa-related works effectively. Proof of academic qualifications must be submitted in this regard, and proof of financial means should also be submitted.

Accommodation and student hall

It is possible to find out some suitable student halls in the EU. Founder’s Hall, England, Tietgen Residence Halls, Denmark, Basket Apartments, France are important residence halls in the EU. These halls provide not only accommodation facilities but also an effective living experience for international students. International students get the chance to live with people who belong to different cultures, and it helps them get experience in handling diversity effectively.

Cost of Living

The costs of living in different countries in the EU are different. To study in the EU while living in Austria, people may need to pay €250 per month. In Belgium, a single student room can cost €500 per month, and the foods are also a bit costly here. Hence, it can be stated that the cost of living in this place is high. In Cyprus, students face the requirement to pay €180 per month for accommodations, and in Bulgaria, the cost of rooms is €150, and in comparison to other places, it is a bit cheaper.

Part-time Job

There are several part-time job facilities available in the EU. Small companies provide a job offer to students to get the work done at lower costs, and students get the facility to contribute to their study-related cost and living cost. Here, students can work as specialists, MOT Tester, sales assistants, and service coordinators. These part-time job facilities are genuinely beneficial for international students as they can help them get financial stability. These factors can be regarded as some reasons behind people’s willingness to study in the EU.
