The University of Saskatchewan welcomes outstanding candidates for their great future and educational dreams to join the Graduate International Awards. These scholarships are open to all international students in Canada for the 2021/2022 academic year.
The funding scheme seeks to establish an educational fund to improve the expertise of students who plan to continue their PhD and Master’s degree at the University of Saskatchewan.

The University of Saskatchewan Founded in 1907, USask is a member of the U15 Group of Canadian Science-intensive Universities and is one of the few universities to occupy several Canada Excellence Research Chairs. The University provides a wide range of degree programs in an extremely flexible way. Candidates here have the potential to understand and be open to diverse world views in several areas, including school programs.
The scholarship will be awarded as follows:
The University of Saskatchewan will degree a PhD award of $20,000 (maybe up to 36 months in duration); a Master’s thesis of $16,000 (maybe up to 24 months in duration) to all well-deserved international students.
For applying to theses studentships, candidates must have to follow these steps:
First, all applicants have to take admission at the University. After that, applicants have to submit the online application form for the program.
Eligible candidates can then apply for the scholarship through an online application by providing all the required documents.
Students may apply for a General Visa Tier-4 three months before the start of a full-time course upon receipt of their Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS). At the same time, those intending to study for a limited duration of about six months or less can apply for a short-stay student visa.
