The Society of Classical Poets Poetry Competition

If you want to capture a feeling that you experienced and have an interest in taking part in any poetry contest, then here is an excellent opportunity for you sponsored by the Winning Writers.

Poetry is an art form in which human language is used for its aesthetic qualities in addition to, or instead of, its notional and semantic content. Poetry writing is also a desire for plenty of writers.

The Society of Classical is a non-profit organization and. Society’s aim of promoting poetry that rhymes have a good character. The Society of Classical is offering Poetry Competition for international students.

Eligibility Criteria:

• This contest is open to anyone from any country. If you are outside the United States.
• Candidates need to have a PayPal account to receive the prize money should you win First Place.

Participants Requirement

• One to three poems on any topic.
• The poems should total of 108 lines or less.
• Poems must contain meter (beginners and students may simply count syllables). Rhyme and other traditional techniques are encouraged as well.

Application Process

• First, click here to pay the submission fee, then email as a Word file or in the email body to submissions@classicalpoets.org.
• Put “Poetry Contest Submission” in the subject line of the email.
