Project Description

We study the role of the ZGRF1 helicase in DNA repair, including its regulation by protein post-translational modifications (PTMs), cellular localization, protein-protein interactions and unique DNA structures recognized by the helicase.

The postdoc’s duties will include research to uncover the functional consequences of patient mutations in ZGRF1 and identification of small molecule inhibitors of ZGRF1, as well as an opportunity to participate in teaching activities.

The position is open from May 15 2021, or as soon as possible after that. The work is tentatively for two years with a possibility for extension.

Award Information

The starting salary is currently up to DKK 437,435, including an annual supplement (+ pension up to DKK 74.801). Negotiation for a salary supplement is possible.
