You are here: Home / Blog / Northern College Ready to Invite Over 3000 Foreign Students

August 12, 2019 //  by Amit Kumar

The Northern College keeps trying hard to attract as many international students as they can, and this time, they are ready to accept over 3000 international students.

For the past few years, the northern college has been trying to attract as many international students so they have been exploring the international market and have been successful in so many countries like India, Nigeria, and China.

In the fall semester of 2019, the northern college will be the home of 3,300 international students 250 to 300 new intake students are expected for the upcoming fall 2019 semester, all over the four of its campuses and partnership institution; most of these students are from India.

It also attempted to create learning environments that allow students to learn as much from their professors as they can from each other.
Edna Xiaojuan Zhang, Northern Colleges International Operations Manager stated that with a large increase of international students attending the College, our institution benefits economically as well as culturally.

This influx of international students has helped to increase our enrollment, cultural dynamics, and on-campus diversity, we continue to work towards improving the experience our international students have while studying with us.”

Official’s Opinion

The officials say that they are so proud and so understanding with the huge rising in the international students’ rates as this is the main purpose of the institution. As it is the main pushing that they need to make the campus better and more welcoming to even more students.

Also, they are thankful for the impact that it made for campus communities making the economic and cultural growth of northeastern Ontario become better and better.

Win-Win Situation

It’s also not a secret that this situation is a win-win situation as the increase of the incoming international students will bring foreign money to the country and also this will make the students study in the place that they want and stay in the place that is suitable for them.

And also, let’s not forget that when foreign people come in the country, the labor level increase bringing better people to work and experts in any field that they need people to work in. So, this is so much better for the economy and for the country itself.

Post-Secondary Education

Post-Secondary education is a chance for the students after they are done with the education part. This change allows the students to stay from one up to 3 years in a search for a job to get the expert that they need.

And, the college is taking action in this to give the students a great chance with an excellent post-secondary education, as a chance for the students to creating diverse learning environments that allow students to learn as much from their professors as they can from each other.

So, according to Edna Xiaojuan Zhang, NorthernCollege’s International Operations Manager, this increase in the international students’ rate is not a bad thing in the northern college it’s the complete opposite for everything that they do in the country and for the country
