Writing the first novel takes so many efforts, with such little hope of reward that it must undoubtedly be a labour of love bordering on madness. Inkitt is opening a new chapter of writing by getting inspired by authors and connected by over a million readers and writers worldwide.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have to fulfil the requirements of the following given criteria, in order to apply for the contest:
- Candidate from any nationality can apply.
- The competition is set free for the aspirants.
Participants Requirement
- Winning writers cannot enter the contest more than once with the same story.
- Competitions are not genre-specific, but poetry and fanfiction will not be accepted.
- Thee may submit multiple entries over multiple months.
- The minimum word count over per submission is 20,000.
- Novels must be in the English language.
- Thee must own the rights to the novel.
- Previously or currently self-published novels are accepted.
- All non-winning participants will roll over into the next month unless they leave the contest or win.
Application Process
Apprentices wishing to get considered for the contest must have to sign up first through an online portal. Only after that, they will be able to submit their novel.
