How to Prepare for Board Exam in 1 Month?

You are here: Home / Blog / How to Prepare for Board Exam in 1 Month?

June 13, 2019 //  by Amit Kumar

Board Exams are the first step on the ladder of our successful career. It’s the measure of one’s excellence. Whether its 10th or 12th, scoring good marks is really important as it affects your higher education choices.

Not every one of us is studious and has studied the whole year of board examinations. Moreover, for scoring good grades, you don’t have to be a bookworm, one month before your board examination is a crucial period and can help you do wonders if you follow the study hacks mentioned below.

Table of Contents

  • Stay calm
  • Make notes
  • Schedule your study hours
  • Keep social media at bay
  • Health matters
  • Conclusion:

Stay calm

You must be stressed and panicking because of the short duration you are left with, but the key to your good grades is being calm. Don’t freak out; believe in yourself that there is nothing which you can’t accomplish. No doubt, board exam preparation requires hard work and determination, but it’s time for smart work and consistency. Give yourself some time and make up your mind that you can crack your exams with good marks.

Make notes

Always make short notes of whatever you study. It makes revising your topics convenient and faster. Writing down summaries of important topics helps you retain your learning. Writing things in your own language makes the topic more understandable and easy to grasp. You, of course, can’t cover the whole course in one month so it’s better to pin down what’s important and check them later. Creating your own tricks to learn things serve as a great helping hand.

Schedule your study hours

Board preparation requires proper planning and management of your time. After taking an overlook on your syllabus, make a schedule for your study hours with short breaks in between. Monotonously studying or hours would take you nowhere, relaxing your mind is very important, it helps you build concentration. Design your schedule in a way that it covers maximum subjects and you get time to solve previous year papers.

Keep social media at bay

Involvement in social media is not at all favorable for a student preparing for board exams. Social media can be sacrificed for a month to keep distractions away. It sounds difficult but isn’t. If you want to score well, you really need to do this.

Health matters

Health is a golden key to success in every field. Everything is sheer waste if you are not healthy. For students preparing for board exams, it’s extremely important to maintain good health. Studying for long hours without eating and taking proper sleep will burst out your mind. To keep your mind healthy and study well, good health is mandatory.

Conclusion:

Always stay cool and calm. Time is not something to worry about; all you need to worry about is designing your schedule effectively to achieve your target. Look through all chapters and topics, make short notes to help you memorize faster, make your own tricks to retain things. Solve previous year papers and watch out your health.
