France is now coming forward to attract more international students with the target of 500,000 students by 2027. Out of many other countries, France is the 4th best choice to study for every international student.
The French higher education system is trying their best to make it the 1st choice for them. Unfortunately, from 2010 to 2015, the number of international students has dropped to 8.1 per cent, and at present, the mark is 343,000.
France campus is running different kinds of a campaign to attract international students to join them for further studies.
‘Bienvenue en France’, which means Choose France’s campaign is going on as a national approach to attract students to fulfil their dream and help to support the position of France to become the favourite destination for all international students.
This campaign is getting backing from Ministries of Europe and Foreign Affairs and Higher Education, Research and Innovation. France is aiming to attract talent to their country from all around the world and to introduce their culture and courses to the world.
The campaign is also using social media as their main platform to spread the message worldwide and planning to introduce an interactive game which will be centred on young students dream.
French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe is planning to attract international students by announcing a series of the bid to make French Universities to be the top select.
They are also planning to introduce more courses in English at Universities and the French language as a foreign language only. Leniency on visa policy will be given to international students so that there should be no challenges to be part of the country.
Tuition fees will be reformed as per the French government for international students in universities. It is also whispered that scholarship programs will be reconsidered and strengthened, but still no such documented evidence available.
As per the latest report of the year, in 2017-2018 international students joining growth is increased to 4.5%. The new web platform will be launched to showcase highlights of 12 international countries whose students come to France for studies. The central target countries for France are India, America, Italy, and Portugal.
France is planning to become the most favourite option for all international students and want to be in first in the race of best higher education competition. They are aiming to attract the best students to their institution from all over the world and doing their best to provide better support services.
