Davidson College is a discretionary liberal arts college and ranked among America’s strongest colleges. It is devoted to enlightening student’s innovative minds in today’s changing world. The college is governed by an honor code that sets the tone for their academic and residential community.

The college aims to assist students by providing broad exposure to diverse thought and deep exploration within their fields of interest. It offers 29 majors and 40 minors as well as other interdisciplinary programs. Davidson also maintains itself as a residential community of scholars, to underscore the teaching responsibility of all professors.

Acceptance Rate- If you want to take admission in any university, the first thing to look at is the acceptance rate. This rate tells you how competitive the university is and what are their requirements. With an acceptance rate of 20.1%, the Davidson enrolls 1,843 students from 48 states and 47 countries. However, this count changes every year.

What GPA do you need to get into Davidson College?

  • Every university has a GPA criterion which applicants need to fulfil. In the same way, the average GPA score at Davidson College is 3.9.
  • With this GPA score, Davidson College requires you to be at the top of your class.
  • If you are currently junior or senior, it is difficult to change your GPA in time for college applications.
  • If your GPA is at or below the school average of 3.9, you will need a higher SAT or ACT score to compensate.
  • This will help you compete proficiently against other applicants who have higher GPAs than you.

Davidson College SAT Score Analysis (New 1600 SAT)

The standard of the new SAT score is 1600. There are three subjects Math, English, and Composite.

Math: In Math, the average score is 710 which comes out from the marks at 25th percentile i.e, 650 and at 75th percentile i.e, 750.
Composite:
The average score in the composite will be 1420 when you score 1320 at 25th percentile and 1500 at the 75th percentile.
English:
The average marks of English are 710, which is an outcome of 25th percentile score i.e, 670 a 75th percentile score i.e, 750.

What is a good SAT, ACT and English score for Davidson College?

  • Each school has dissimilar requirements for standardized testing. Most schools need the SAT or ACT, and many also require SAT subject tests.
  • The average SAT score composite at this College is 1420 on the 1600 SAT scale. This score makes Davidson College Strongly Competitive for SAT test scores.
  • College requires that all applicants submit either SAT or ACT scores.
  • The average ACT score set up by college is 30. This score makes Davidson College powerfully competitive for ACT scores.
