There ARE a bunch of rules you need to follow while responding to these inquiries.

If you get what, precisely, the questioner is searching for with each question, you’ll have the option to offer the correct answer.

Realizing how to address your interview questions is a significant ability, and it requires exploration and practice. In this article, we will talk about the most commonly asked questions for freshers:

1. Tell me about yourself

This can be the first and often asked question for any candidate by his interviewer. The interviewer is looking forward to your best presentation on yourself or how you describe yourself through the question.

He is looking for your opinion on yourself and what is it about you that you consider the most unique and valuable.

Remember that do not mention something that is already mentioned in your CV and tell them something they don’t know and can be proved as something they are exactly looking for in their potential employee.

Always make sure that you don’t brag and only mention those details relevant to the requirements of the job position you have applied for.

You can answer it by telling your history, accomplishments, and learning. Remember that you are not asked to share your life story to keep it as brief and informative as possible.

2. What are your strengths?

This can be the next question that your interviewer can ask you. So to answer this question, you need to list down all your strengths and analyze them and consider only those you think are of utmost importance and are relevant to the requirements of the job.

Your interviewer wants to know about your strengths to conclude whether you are capable of any challenge that you might face during working in their company. Your strengths can serve as your best selling points and get you a job, making sure you state the most valuable ones.

3. What are your weaknesses?

This can be a tricky and difficult-to-answer question, so you need to be very careful while preparing your answer to this question.

No one in this world has weaknesses, so telling your interviewer that you have none because you don’t want to make a wrong impression is not a good decision. So what to do? Stay quiet and don’t answer? Of course not!!

The interviewer is not only interested in your strengths but your weaknesses as well because they want to make sure that your imperfections won’t affect their company’s image and its progress in the future if they hire you, so you better answer with those weaknesses that are nowhere related to the requirements of the job and the company.

4. Why should we hire you?

There you go, the most critical question that your interviewer is looking forward to asking you.

Through this question, the interviewer is testing you how confident you are about yourself and how much you are about you being the perfect fit for the job.

He wants to know your willingness and your inspiration for this job.

To answer this question, you can state some of your skills and abilities that make you unique and stand out from the competitors. Also, they must be relevant to the requirements of the job.

5. Why do you want to work with our company?

The interviewer asks such a question to know that how much you know about the company and what are your career expectations from the company

To answer this question, you can state some of the company’s advantages in fulfilling your career goals.

6. What are your wage expectations?

The purpose of this question is that the interviewer is looking forward to knowing how much you value your skills and qualifications.

He asks you this question to see that how much your value yourself as a professional.

Don’t answer with a too less or too-high salary package and consider the most balanced ad moderate one.

Also, if you are not sure about the reasonable salary for the job you are applying for as you are fresher, you can consider telling them that you accept any salary package the company offers to you.

7. What are your most significant accomplishments?

The answer to this question doesn’t mean that you have to brag about your most significant achievements but tell him what you are capable of.

Through this question, the interviewers looking forward to knowing the most impressive and relevant accomplishments that prove you as the perfect candidate or a perfect employee for the particular job position you are interviewing for.

Here, the interviewer studies the candidate’s potential and the accomplishments that he views as his essential, valuable, and most competent ones.

To answer this question, state the most valuable and relevant accomplishments that prove you the best candidate for the job you have applied for.

8. Why are you applying for this job?

This sounds somewhat similar to the question “why do you want to work with our company?” but note that it’s not.

In the previous question, you talked about the company and how the company can contribute to your future career prospects. Still, here, you have to talk about the job position you have applied for and why you think that you can do this job and that this job in any way can increase your value in the corporate world.

You want to mention those benefits that this particular job position can offer you.

9. What are your long-term goals?

Now, this can be a difficult question for the candidates who are freshers and just started with their careers.

Usually, the individuals at the beginning of their career don’t focus on or think about their long-term career goals.

Their main focus is on stability and learning how to cope up or adapt in the real corporate world. So answering this kind of question can be pretty much challenging.

To answer this question you can state some of your future career prospects that you are looking forward to in your next upcoming 5 years. Also, make sure that only mention those goals which are concerned with the job position you are getting interviewed for

10. Do you have any questions for us?

This is also a often asked question by the interviewer at the end of the interviewer to know if the candidate has any doubts or questions regarding the company or the job position.

You can snwer with no if you don’t want to ask anything but it’s highly recommended to ask because it shows your confidence and your curiosity to learn more.
