The Vanier College is announcing a TEFL – Teaching English as a Foreign Language Certificate course for graduates, want to have teaching experience. The course provides all the necessary tools that are essential for ESL teachers particularly for those who wish to teach abroad.
A Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Certificate is an internationally recognized entry-level credential for teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) in schools and communities.
The qualified English teachers are demanded in all over the world, open doors to diverse professional career opportunities, and expand your worldview while living abroad!
In these six weeks, participants will be exposed to various teaching methods. In addition to the 60-course hours, students will also have a 5-hour practicum observation. Homework will be given regularly and a reflection report is due at the end of the course. Students must attend all classes to receive their certificate.
International students must provide evidence of language proficiency in English by sending us a copy of either a TOEFL or IELTS score. Students who have completed their studies at a Cegep or University must forward a copy of their degree.
