Best Online Electronics Courses

You are here: Home / Online Courses / Best Online Electronics Courses

April 17, 2021 //  by Amit Kumar

The study of electricity and how to use it to create things like computers are known as electronics. It performs functional tasks using circuits made up of components, connecting wires, and converting them into electric current and voltage signals. In automotive and aerospace technologists and wireless communications or space defense applications, electronics engineers are highly demanding.

You can begin by learning about electrical currents and circuits. Order construction kits or make your circuits for a more hands-on approach. Learn about circuits, robots, and more by taking online electronics courses from the list below. Also, find the course details in the list and the direct link to enroll in the courses.

Solar Energy’s Integration of Photovoltaic Systems in Microgrids

This course is a source of the MicroMasters program in Solar Energy Engineering, which covers all physics and engineering aspects of photovoltaics, including photovoltaic energy conversion, processes, and systems. Both students will have the opportunity to learn about the benefits and challenges of DC microgrids (which are still in an early stage). You will also have the chance to master the subject of microgrids as a validated learner through an exercise in which you will test selected pilot sites where microgrids have deployed.

Provider: Delft University of Technology
Subject: Electronics
Duration: 9 Weeks

Fundamentals of Current Flow

Diffusive transport is the conventional definition of electronic motion through a solid, which means an electron takes a random walk from the source to the transistor’s drain. Modern nanoelectronic devices often have channel lengths equivalent to a mean free path so that electrons travel ballistically or like a bullet. This course provides a coherent conceptual framework for the ballistic and diffusive transport of both electrons and phonons. That is very different from what teaches in standard courses but indispensable to understanding nanoelectronic devices.

Provider: Purdue University
Subject: Electronics
Duration: 6 Weeks
Start Date: Open

Nanoscience and Technology

You can learn how to design advanced nanoelectronics and nanophotonics from the makers of nanoHUB and education platforms. The fundamental physics of nanoscale electronic and photonic devices and their significant applications in integrated circuits. Future electronic and photonic systems will teach in a specific sequence of courses.

Provider: Purdue University
