A good short-story writer has an ability for sketching in just sufficient background to ground the specific story. For such writers, here is an excellent opportunity of Aftermath Short Story Contest to shine bright in front of the world.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have to meet the needs of the following given criteria, in order to apply for the contest:

  • All applicants of any nationality can apply.
  • The competition is free for all eligible aspirants.
  • There is no age restriction for the writers.
  • An individual can submit only one story for the contest.

Participants Requirement

  • Preferred word count must be between 1500 to 5000 words.
  • The story should be in digital form, that is in Microsoft Word or PDF.
  • Formatting with common practice; see the internet, for instance:
    • William Shunn
    • Scribophile

Application Process

To get considered for the opportunity, candidates must have to submit the entry form. Only after that, they will count for the contest.

Benefits

The magazine will provide an award amount of up to US$1,000 for the winner, US$300 for the runner-up and US$100 for the third number contestant.

Application Deadline: The applications for the contest will be accepted only by October 31, 2019.
