Abu Dhabi Launched a Golden Visa Program to Invite Ex-pats

The abundant oil reserves of the UAE facilitated its growth as a world power. Over the last few decades, Dubai and Abu Dhabi have become some of the most visited international destinations. The tourism of Arabia attracts people from all corners of the globe. Fast cars, high buildings, golden jewels, and a luxury lifestyle is the true essence of Dubai. Dubai also has a lot of immigrant labor, both working in white-collar jobs and manual works. Many also engage in business. Dubai and Abu Dhabi have low crime rates, a good lifestyle, employment opportunities, so many wish to come here.

Recently Abu Dhabi has announced a golden visa program to increase the immigration of quality candidates. Invitations have extended to skilled workers, international students, and wealthy investors to settle in the UAE. Doing business in Abu Dhabi is much more lucrative; hence, the upper-middle-class will receive the offer. The luxury lifestyle is undoubtedly an attraction. UAE plans to bring in investment, both human and capital, to different healthcare, tech, business, research, and hospitality sectors. The golden visa program will also allow a smooth transition to permanent citizenship. 

Future of immigration in UAE

Abbas Mosvi, a senior immigration consultant, stated that people who would undoubtedly choose the USA, Australia, or the UK as immigration destinations will now consider UAE. The future holds great opportunities for immigrants in Abu Dhabi. Previously, UAE workers would like to move out of UAE to the USA or Canada as there was no way of getting permanent citizenship without a job. The new pathway will encourage UAE to retain a better section of its immigrant population. Indeed, people who have lived in Abu Dhabi love the culture and lifestyle. They would wish to attain permanent citizenship for themselves and their families.

The UAE is an amazing place to live and work. Business is always thriving, and there is plenty of opportunities to make money. UAE is looking to attract people like musicians, engineers, doctors, startup owners, and investors to settle in Abu Dhabi. The golden visa is a promise towards Emirati citizenship for the applicant and his or her family. It will undoubtedly be received well by workers and business owners from other places—the new program aimed to appreciate talents and provide them with some security sense. The UAE is embarking on a five-year plan for sector-wise development. For this purpose, it wishes to attract more people to work in the country. The strategy aims at empowering immigrants through long term visa and citizenship programs. Abu Dhabi is rich in heritage and culture. People who would contribute to the capitalist economy and increase its global appeal will be dearly welcome. They can earn a highly credible international degree, explore the UAE also find suitable employment opportunities. There is also plenty of opportunity in the tech industry’s AI and coding space in Abu Dhabi.  Public and private enterprises are spending on research and development, creating opportunities for Masters and Ph.D. degree holders.

Due to tax concessions and easy-of-do business, many creative business owners and talents wish to operate from Abu Dhabi. It is good to be wealthy and flaunt your lavish lifestyle in UAE. There are many visa pathways to work, own assets, and live in Abu Dhabi, including the latest golden visa program.

Abu Dhabi is slowly opening up after a year-long ban on international travel. As vaccination picks up and with proper testing facilities in place, the country welcomes back residents who have stuck abroad during the pandemic. Tourism is also slowly picking up. In 2021 UAE wishes to make its global connections stronger. The latest visa and citizenship policies will attract more people to the Emirates who would previously flock to the USA or UK. By the end of March, most ex-pats would be allowed to come back. Restrictions remain on travel from individual nations severely affected by covid 19.
